After the December 26 explosions at the Engels airfield in the Saratov region, the Russians are dispersing their aircraft. This delayed the next attack on Ukraine.
This was told to Channel 24 by Defense Express expert Ivan Kirichevsky. He noted that there are other airfields in Russia where heavy bombers can be dropped.
“If the Russians dare to fire, it doesn't matter where the aircraft is based – in Engels or on the Kola Peninsula. Ukraine won a few precious days that allowed it to stabilize the energy system. Even if the next strike comes in the coming days, there will be much less harm,” the expert said.
He added that the power engineers had probably managed to repair most of the damage caused by the last massive missile strike.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that as a result of the strike on Engels, 3 soldiers were killed and four were injured.
