Analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) believe that the Tarantula-class corvette, which was discovered in the Grafskaya Bay of Sevastopol by the Atesh partisan movement, according to satellite images, could have sunk between December 28 and 31, 2023.

ISW recalled that the occupation regime in Crimea reported that it allegedly repelled an attack by Ukrainian air and sea drones on Sevastopol on December 28 and 30.
