Corruption schemes under threat: why the Kremlin needs to purge the Shoigu-Vorobyov clan Aleksandr Sadovaya

The purge of the Shoigu-Vorobyov corruption clan continues in Russia. However, they will be replaced by those who will steal even more money from the Russian army.

It is impossible to eradicate corruption in an aggressor country, which will continue to strike blows at Russia's military potential. This was noted by Russian opposition journalist Igor Yakovenko to Channel 24.

“Everything will be fine with corruption. The thing is that this is not a process of fighting corruption. This is a process of replacing corrupt teams. Corruption in Russia, in the Russian armed forces, in the army will not be eradicated. Therefore, others will come,” he said.

Pay attention! In May 2024, Vladimir Putin dismissed Sergei Shoigu from the post of Minister of Defense of Russia. He was appointed Secretary of the Security Council of Russia instead of Nikolai Patrushev. The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country is headed by Andrei Belousov. The clan of the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov also suffered a blow. Officials from these two clans are regularly detained.

They will steal with double force

Igor Yakovenko suggested that the Shoigu-Vorobyov clan will gradually be moved to prison. However, corruption in Russia will not cease to exist, but on the contrary, it will become even more powerful.

Some other clan will replace it. They will most likely steal more. Because these ones have already stolen enough, and they need it quickly. Especially since times are hot. Therefore, corruption will continue and will, as before, strike at Russia's military potential, – opposition journalist.

In addition, the newly appointed Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov was also involved in corruption. And who else will control the financial flows in the Ministry of Defense, the army and the military industry of the aggressor country is still unknown.

“There is now a fight for this big “pie”, which makes up about 40% of the Russian economy. There will simply be a new scheme. They will steal with double force,” Yakovenko added.
