SBU detained two Russian agents
The SBU recently also detained two Russian agents who, at the direction of the enemy, were collecting intelligence about the deployment and movement of Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the Taurida direction. In addition, they handed over to the invaders the location of critical infrastructure in Odessa and Kherson.
First of all, the aggressor was interested in the exact coordinates of local facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia and power generating enterprises. In the event that intelligence information was received, the invaders planned to use it to prepare and conduct a series of targeted missile strikes on Ukrainian cities, the SBU noted.
Fortunately, the invaders' henchmen failed to realize their plans. SBU officers located them and detained them while trying to transfer intelligence to the enemy:
- one attacker was caught near the central railway station in Kherson,
- another in Odessa after a covert photograph of one of the military objects.
