Cooler than “shaheeds”: Prytula told details about Ukrainian kamikaze drones

by alex

Large volunteer funds are just starting to purchase the first samples of kamikaze drones for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, Iranian Shahed drones are much more primitive compared to them.

In the future, the production of this type of drones can expand to an industrial scale. Serhiy Prytula, a volunteer, head of the “Sergey Prytula Charitable Foundation”, told Channel 24 about this.

Prytula noted that the purchase of kamikaze drones is a “new page” for volunteers.

“Ukraine produces very good reconnaissance UAVs. We all heard and knew about the PD-1, PD-2, Stork, Fury and Valkyrie, etc. The story of kamikaze drones is a new page. They also went through certain stages from the moment of development to the moment of passing tests and licensing, including ammunition,” the philanthropist explained.

In his opinion, the task of volunteers today is to regularly buy then what the manufacturers are selling.

I think that the increase in production will affect the cost reduction of these drones and allow large funds to buy them on an industrial scale. Now we understand that there will be fewer of them, but in terms of technical characteristics they are much cooler than the most primitive “shaheeds”, which are called “air mopeds”. said the benefactor.

He is convinced that manufacturers have done a “good job” lately to improve drone communications.

“Yes, this drone will not fly 1000 kilometers< /strong> , but thanks to good communication, it is resistant to electronic warfare and can work on those targets that are located at a distance of up to 25-30 kilometers from the front line“, Prytula stressed.

According to him, the production of such drones for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may further increase.

“But everyone should also understand that in the modern conditions of Ukraine, when we are regularly subjected to regular rocket attacks, this is a very difficult task and quite risky. In order not to be exposed to a missile strike, manufacturers will maneuver very quickly so that production is not concentrated in one place,” “summed up the volunteer.
