The office of the Prosecutor General noted that according to the investigation, from 2014 to the present, Bastrykin has been creating criminal justice bodies in the occupied territories of Ukraine, in particular, in the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. We are talking about the so-called regional divisions of the Russian Investigative Committee.
The work of these occupying punitive bodies resulted in the initiation of more than 2,000 criminal cases against citizens of Ukraine, the Office of the Prosecutor General added.
In the field of view of the enemy, first of all, there were representatives of the military and political leadership of our state, law enforcement agencies, military personnel taken prisoner, as well as Ukrainians who denied the entry of the occupied territories into Russia.
