In Russia, construction of a plant for the production of Iranian-designed kamikaze drones continues at full speed. Moscow intends to use these drones for attacks on energy facilities in Ukraine.
This is stated in the report of researchers from the Institute for Science and International Security.
At the same time, neither the United States nor its allies imposed sanctions against the owner of the plant, OJSC Alabuga, or companies associated with it.

Satellite imagery taken in mid-September showed construction of the new building coincides with leaked building plan documents that the Washington Post published earlier this year.
According to leaked secret documents, the building will be used to produce large Shahed-136 drones.
The satellite image also shows the construction of other structures and new security perimeters with checkpoints.
As winter approaches, Russia can be expected to accelerate its Shahed-136 attacks on Ukraine's vital energy infrastructure, creating brutal living conditions for civilians, the Institute's report says.
