In one of the regions of Ukraine, training grounds have already been created for university students to undergo basic combined arms training (BCAT)

It is quite safe and is ready today to accept young people from all over Ukraine. They are already open and working, — the minister emphasized.

The theoretical course of basic general military training (BOVP) is taken by students who have entered on the basis of complete general secondary education and are studying in their second year.
As is known, from September 1, 2025, mandatory basic combined arms training (BCT) will be introduced in higher education institutions.
It will include a theoretical course, which will be conducted in educational institutions, and a practical course in military units and centers.
