Now the condition of the intelligence director’s wife Marianna Budanova and the GUR employees after heavy metal poisoning is satisfactory.
Speaker of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov announced this on the air of the United News telethon.
He noted that they have completed a course of treatment and will continue to undergo medical observation in the future.

— The state of health is now satisfactory. Completed a course of treatment in a Ukrainian clinic. And thanks to the fact that they turned and reacted on time, thanks to the professionalism of Ukrainian doctors, everything is fine today. But in the future, medical monitoring will continue – regular examinations. And this is a long process,” he said.
Yusov noted that such cases are extremely complex and require constant monitoring.
“We hope that nothing threatens life,” says Yusov.
According to a GUR representative, the investigation is ongoing.
— At this stage, according to the law of Ukraine on intelligence, an internal investigation is being conducted. It is handled by the internal security division of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Experts are now carefully studying this issue,” Yusov informed.
Let us recall that on November 28 it became known that the wife of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kirill Budanov Marianna was poisoned with heavy metals.

Anonymous sources claimed that Marianna Budanova could have been poisoned through food. She is undergoing treatment, which is already being completed.
Mild symptoms of poisoning were diagnosed in several more GUR employees.
