NATO and OSCE have responded to massive rocket attacks on Ukraine by the Russian military. Russia was accused of intending to spread terror, compensating for failures at the front.
Massive rocket attacks by Russia against Ukraine were condemned by the OSCE Troika. We are talking about the Secretary General, the President and the Secretary General of the OSCE PA.
OSCE called massive shelling indiscriminate targets of Russian strikes
The OSCE said that the shelling of residential buildings, streets, parks and playgrounds are indiscriminate targets of Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities.
These horrendous hostilities represent a complete disregard and violation of international law, in particular international humanitarian law. The only reason for these gross and cruel acts is to expand terror and compensate for failures in achieving tactical and strategic goals, the message says.
The OSCE assured that they will continue to support Ukraine.
“We we are united with the brave people of Ukraine and are further committed to supporting their noble cause of protecting our common values and core OSCE commitments,” they said.
NATO assured of its unending support to Ukraine
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg also reacted to the massive rocket attacks. On Monday, October 10, he spoke with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
Speaked with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and condemned Russia's horrific and indiscriminate attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, – NATO Secretary General noted.
At the same time, Stoltenberg stressed that NATO “in the future will support the brave Ukrainian people in repelling the Kremlin's aggression for as long as necessary.”
