The complete demining of the Kiev region will take years, – Kuleba/zhanbeleniuk
regions are actively restoring the infrastructure destroyed by the occupiers. A total of 33 territorial communities were fought or occupied.

Why is it taking so long
with the territories of many European countries. Demining takes place in stages, according to a well-established algorithm.
If we talk about complete demining, we understand that, unfortunately, it will take years. The territory of the Kyiv region can be compared with the territory of Belgium, for example. Therefore, it is clear that the amount of work is crazy, – said Kuleba.
He added that immediately after the demining of a certain area, the communal stage begins. Public utilities immediately restore elements of critical infrastructure: water and gas supply, establish electricity, communications and the Internet.
