From now on, Russia plans to hold a referendum in the Kherson region. Alexei Arestovich explained what awaits the aggressor country if it tries to annex another region.
During the broadcast with Mark Feigin, the adviser to the head of the President's Office stressed that the conversation with the occupiers would be short. And instead of the usual complaints in the direction of the Russian invaders, guided missiles will fly.
Diplomacy will work in parallel with the shells
We have solutions instead of information and the ability to implement them. Complaints will be submitted by calibers of 155 millimeters, guided projectiles. It is absolutely indifferent to us what they will announce (about the referendum in Kherson – 24 channels), – Arestovich emphasized.
He added that diplomacy, of course, will work. The world will discuss the need to deprive Russia of the right of veto, as well as throw it out of the Security Council of the General Assembly. In addition, there will be several more volumes on the genocide in the International Court of Justice. All this will happen, but in parallel, Russia will receive what understands the best – force.
Sanctions against Russia will only increase
Aleksey Arestovich reminded me of the Yermak-McFaul commission. He stressed that she deals not only with sanctions, but also with their effectiveness and consequences. This commission is studying where the restrictions against Russia have worked, and where they need to be finalized in order to get the desired result. Moreover, everything possible is being done to make it impossible to bypass the sanctions.
This Ukrainian-American think tank was created not only to impose sanctions on Russia. He diligently monitors all their activities. Consequently, the commission's forecasts indicate that as early as mid-June, every ordinary Russian will feel the effects of sanctions. If now in the aggressor country food prices have risen by 25%, then there will soon be a new round.
Now they will begin to “break” the economy. By September, there will be no more complex Russian economy,” Arestovich emphasized.
He noted that, provided that the sanctions are lifted soon, it will take a lot of time to restore the Russian economy.

- The Russian invaders constantly postpone the date of the alleged referendum in the Kherson region. It was supposed to take place on April 24, then on April 27, and then between May 1 and 10.
- At the same time, collaborators continue to spread misinformation among the local population. They convince the inhabitants of the region that it is no longer possible to return the Kherson region under the control of Ukraine.
- Meanwhile, in Nova Kakhovka, partisans leave messages to the occupiers. Local residents make it clear that they are not going to join the aggressor country.
