As Ukrinform writes, it has also become known about the Ukrainian athletes who will carry the flag of Ukraine at the closing ceremony of the Olympics in Paris. The blue and yellow flag will be carried by silver medalists — wrestler Parviz Nasibov and rower Lyudmila Luzan.

Ukraine's results and medals at the 2024 Olympics

The last athlete from Ukraine to compete on the final day of the Paris Olympics on August 11 was Ukrainian wrestler Murazi Mchedlidze. In freestyle wrestling in the 97 kg category, Mchedlidze lost to a representative of Azerbaijan for the bronze medal.

  • Sabre fencers Olga Kharlan, Alina Komashchuk, Elena Kravatskaya and Yulia Bakastova won team gold;
  • Yaroslava Mahuchikh won gold in the high jump;
  • Boxer Oleksandr Khizhnyak won gold in the 80 kg weight category.

Silver among Ukrainians received:

  • Sergey Kulish – in rifle shooting in three positions, distance 50 meters;
  • Gymnast Ilya Kovtun – in exercises on parallel bars;
  • Parviz Nasibov won a silver medal in Greco-Roman wrestling in the weight category up to 67 kg;
  • Lyudmila Luzan and Anastasia Rybachok – in canoe-pair at a distance of 500 meters;
  • Irina Kolyadenko won a silver medal in the final of the competition in Freestyle wrestling in the 62 kg weight category.

Bronze for Ukrainians:

  • Olga Kharlan won bronze in individual sabre;
  • Iryna Gerashchenko won bronze in high jump;
  • Mikhail Kokhan won bronze in hammer throw;
  • Zhan Beleniuk won bronze in Greco-Roman wrestling in the 87 kg weight category kg.
