Railway communication between Ukraine and Moldova
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his address to Ukrainians also received good infrastructure news – we managed to establish another route that connects us with our neighbors.
We have updated and launched a railway line connecting Ukraine and Moldova. Moreover, we did it both on our territory and on the territory of Moldova – our Ukrzaliznytsia did it, well done. For almost 25 years, this route has been closed, and now it works again for Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
He stressed that this is an important transport direction that can provide a large volume of cargo transportation. According to preliminary forecasts, the average figure could reach 10 million tons per year.
