In Brussels, concerned people gathered under the building of the European Parliament, to honor the memory of the dead Ukrainians after a massive missile attack from Russia. After the shelling of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, people brought flowers and children's toys to the building of the Ukrainian hub.

During the rally, Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine in Belgium Natalya Anoshina spoke. She noted that the international community must more strongly condemn Russian atrocities and not leave these actions unanswered.

We must remove restrictions that prevent the Ukrainian army from effectively defending itself. The current ban on the use of Western long-range weapons against Russian territory seriously limits our defensive capabilities, since we cannot attack Russian military airfields and aircraft that are so inhumanely destroying Ukrainian cities, said the representative of Ukraine in Belgium.

The diplomat also called for the transfer of more weapons to the Ukrainian army and the adoption of the next package of sanctions, which would “destroy the Russian economy.” MEP from “Renew Europe” Petras Auštrevičius also took the floor at the rally. He stated that despite the creation of the far-right group “Patriots for Europe” in the term of the newly elected EP, the European Parliament will work to continue supporting Ukraine.

“We must fight every day and call on our parliament to move forward. United Europe, Ukraine's membership in the EU, security and support for as long as it takes. We must mobilize, forget about fatigue and think about what else to do in the future,” the MEP said.
