The Minister of Defense believes that it is more appropriate to use the “City of Heroes”. The official said this on the air of the national radio broadcasting, channel 24 reports.
It is not the cities and stones that are heroic, but the people who live there are heroic: civilians, military, doctors, rescuers, – Reznikov emphasized.
The Minister hopes that soon President Volodymyr Zelensky will consolidate the status of the “City of Heroes” by his decrees. After all, the “hero city” comes from Soviet times.
Reznikov called on Ukrainians to spread this initiative together.
