How the population of Kremenchug recovers after a missile attack/Collage of Channel 24
On the afternoon of June 27, Russians cynically attacked a mall in the city of Kremenchug with rockets. As of the morning of June 28, 18 dead are known. The townspeople are still recovering from the terrible event that happened.
They are shocked by the consequences of the enemy missile attack. Irina Solyanik, a correspondent from Poltava, told Channel 24 about this.
How the townspeople react
According to her, the fact that people plan to leave the city has not yet been said. Nobody expected this. However, even after the first shelling, the parents played it safe and took the children away from the city.
Kremenchuk, like Poltava, accepted immigrants, because it was a large industrial city and there were more chances to find work. People, on the contrary, came there, – said Solyanik.
As the journalist reminded, Kremenchuk had already been shelled three times before, but this happened in the industrial zone.
People heard explosions, they were scared, but such an attack has not yet followed. It is a rather crowded place, not far from the center,” she said.
Solyanik is sure that the Russians understood where they were shooting. They did it deliberately, since there are usually a lot of people there at such a time.
