This opinion was expressed on Channel 24 by Russian publicist and opposition politician from the United States Andrei Piontkovsky. According to him, Chinese leader Xi Jinping is more anti-American politician, but will not be able to go against Chinese interests.

The publicist recalled that foreign intelligence reports: China intends to transfer not only drones, but also aircraft to Russia. Andrei Piontkovsky is convinced that in this way Beijing wants to show the United States how it can harm them and what needs to be negotiated.
“Xi Jimping is generally more anti-American and less anti-Russian than the average Chinese political class. But not so much as to go to such disregard for China's basic economic interests,” the publicist believes.

The US covered up the story with COVID-19
Andrei Piontkovsky says that it is very interesting how the United States treats such blackmail. He claims that for a long time the Americans covered up the story that a Chinese woman in a laboratory in the States was doing research and probably accidentally created a dangerous virus.
“A scientific article was published about this in a reputable American journal 2-3 years before the outbreak of the pandemic (coronavirus – Channel 24). She was expelled. She had to move to China with these studies. The Americans still covered up this story,” said publicist.
China can supply Russia with weapons: what is known
