This was stated by Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe. He attended the annual Shangri-La Dialogue security conference in Singapore on June 12.

Fenhe , answering a journalist's questions about closer relations between Russia and China, said that the PRC has never provided weapons to the aggressor country in its war against Ukraine.

In February, after a joint statement on the establishment of “unlimited” strategic relations between Moscow and Beijing, a few weeks before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, China came under close scrutiny of its possible support for the aggressor country. At the same time, Fenghe described Sino-Russian relations as a partnership, not an alliance.
“It does not target any third country,” the minister added.
However, he said China's relations and cooperation with Russia will grow. Fenhe also traditionally spreads the pro-Kremlin thesis that the United States is allegedly to blame for the war. After all, the United States continues to supply weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so the resistance of the Ukrainians does not subside. However, he does not talk about Russia's fault.
“Who really wants this war? Who has the most to lose and who wins? Who promotes peace and who adds fuel to the fire? I think we all know the answers to these questions,” the Chinese defense minister summed up.
