A series of explosions thundered in the city of Aleksin, in the Tula Oblast of Russia. Late at night on November 9, the region was attacked by unknown drones.

A local chemical plant may have been hit. UAVs may also have attacked the Aleksin Experimental Mechanical Plant. This was reported by 24 Kanal, citing Russian Telegram channels, in particular the opposition Astra.

Locals report at least 11 drones. Russians also complained in their chats about a series of loud explosions.

The network writes that the target of the drone attack was a local chemical plant. But among other things, the enterprise produces ammunition, polymers, paints and varnishes and composite materials for the military-industrial complex of Russia. Its products are used in the automotive, mining, oil and gas, construction, aerospace, nuclear, aviation and special chemicals, shipbuilding and military industries.

In addition, the Aleksin Experimental Mechanical Plant, which also produces defense products, could have been hit.
