London Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca responded to the Football Association of England (FA) accusations against the aristocrats' Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk.
Maresca expressed support for the Ukrainian, but noted that the club is looking for a new player for his position. This is reported by the British newspaper Mirror.

On Wednesday, June 18, it became known that the FA had brought formal charges against Mudryk due to a positive doping test and he faces a disqualification of up to four years.

Chelsea are currently actively trying to complete the transfer of Borussia Dortmund striker Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, but the Bumblebees have already rejected three offers from London.
“We've already played a whole season without Misha. We're going to make a decision on buying a winger,” Maresca said.
However, the Chelsea boss insists he will continue to support his player as the case continues to be heard.
“I spoke to Misha in Poland when we played the Conference League final. We haven't spoken since then. I can't add anything. I don't have any more information. Misha is a Chelsea player. As long as he's not, I'll trust him,” he stressed.
The Football Association reportedly brought charges against Mudryk over a positive doping test.
It is believed that the Ukrainian's doping test in November 2024 detected the banned substance meldonium. Sample A was positive. The footballer faces a long disqualification of up to four years.
The day before, The Athletic reported that the Ukrainian footballer's B doping sample also showed a positive result.
