The satirical French magazine Charlie Hebdo, known for its scandalous cartoons, came out with drawings by Ukrainian artists. The proceeds from the sales of the latest issue will be directed to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, the new issue of Charlie Hebdo magazine has become somewhat Ukrainianized. And the very manifestation of support, in fact, is twofold.
Firstly, our cartoonists could show the war through the prism of their artistic vision. Secondly, the money from the sale of the publication will go to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Humor is a weapon of mass resistance
The latest issue of Charlie Hebdo featured almost dozens of cartoons by Ukrainian artists. They decided to publish them in the publication in order to show their “solidarity” with colleagues from Ukraine.
The publication added that cartoonists from our state pretty much ridiculed Russian aggression. Noting that they are “obviously ruthless towards the Russians, displaying a sense of humor unwilling to surrender in the face of arbitrariness and terror”.

< p>That's interesting! Most of the drawings that can now be seen in the issue of the magazine are taken from the exhibition “Russian warship, go f*ck”. Her local association of cartoonists held in Odessa. It is not for nothing that the city is called the Ukrainian capital of humor.
Charlie Hebdo emphasizes that the proceeds from the sale of the magazine will be sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the Odesa TRO.
Recall that that at the beginning of March Charlie Hebdo came out with a powerful cover. It depicts Vladimir Putin as a monkey literally urinating on a red nuclear button. An excellent allusion to a monkey with a weapon in his hands, as well as a mention of what the Kremlin is trying to intimidate the whole world with.
Ukrainian artists have previously released a series of NFT illustrations. They depict scenes of the death of Russian President Vladimir Putin. A collection of 18 drawings has been created for a reason. The creators promised to use the proceeds of sales of these illustrations for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the treatment of the wounded, as well as humanitarian aid.
They could not do without a cartoon in The Times. One of the March issues of the newspaper came out with a satirical illustration and the inscription “Z” is for Zelensky”. On it, Vladimir Zelensky oppresses the muzzle of a tank into the letter “Z”, while terrible Vladimir Putin is sitting in the combat vehicle itself.
