The village of Yagodnoye was under the Russians for 28 days. 380 people lived in basements, some residents were shot and burned by the invaders.
Already in the first days of the occupation, the invaders, in the style of the German Nazis of the 1940s, driven the inhabitants of the village of Yagodnoe to cellars . In particular, 138 people were hiding in the basement of a local school in a common room of 90 square meters. They went to the toilet by the bucket and slept standing up.
A girl born a month before the start of the war stayed in one of the rural cellars for a long time, she was exhausted and dying. Fortunately, she was saved.
But there were those who did not survive. People were dying, but the infidels did not allow their bodies to be taken out immediately. And they shot some residents and burned their huts.
In the school basement, on the walls and doors, the peasants kept a calendar, recorded the names of the dead and the dates of their death.
