The High Anti-Corruption Court has postponed the consideration of the preventive measure for Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity Alexey Chernyshov until Thursday, June 26.
RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to Chernyshov’s publication on Facebook.
Why Chernyshov did not appear in court
The hearing began after 11 a.m., but the main defendant was not in the courtroom. Chernyshov wrote on Facebook that he asked to postpone the hearing due to government commitments.

Only Chernyshov's lawyer appeared in court, and he also asked to postpone the hearing. Judge Vitaly Kriklivy postponed the hearing until Thursday, June 26, at 12:10.
Let us recall that the investigation demands that Chernyshov be given bail in the amount of 120 million hryvnia without being placed in custody.
What is Chernyshov accused of?
On June 23, NABU informed Chernyshov of suspicion of abuse of office and bribery.
Investigators found out that a Kyiv developer had come up with a scheme to illegally obtain a plot of land for a residential project.
He reached an agreement with the then Minister of Community Development – from the case materials it is clear that we are talking specifically about Chernyshov.
The minister, together with his deputies and the head of the state enterprise, organized the transfer of the land to the desired company. They deliberately understated the cost of the land and buildings by almost five times compared to the market price.
Because of this fraud, the state should have lost more than a billion hryvnias – that is how much the property valuation was underestimated.
For his services, the developer gave Chernyshov huge discounts on apartments in already built buildings.
Instead of 30 thousand UAH per square meter, the minister paid from one to eight thousand. The total benefit amounted to more than 14.5 million UAH.
Most of the illegally purchased apartments have already been seized by court order.
The remaining participants in the corruption scheme were arrested earlier this month.
Three were sentenced to detention with the possibility of posting bail of 20 to 100 million hryvnia, while two others were given bail only.
