During a conversation with journalists of the Kyiv TV channel, one of the residents of the house in the Svyatoshinsky district spoke about her condition. She noticed that it was not the air raid alarm that woke her, but the sound of the explosion.
Woke up from the explosion
We woke up from the explosion in the morning, just as it happened. We jumped. The guy immediately ran to the balcony, saw burning cars, the windows were smashed. We just went out, saw it all and went to the shelter,” she said.
The girl added that they did not hear the explosion in the Goloseevsky district, as well as the air raid. She and her boyfriend slept so soundly. They were blown to their feet by an explosion that sounded near their own house. An eyewitness says she was lucky. The windows of her apartment face the other side, so they survived.
What is known about the explosions in Kyiv
- The first explosion took place around 06:00. Then it was not known whether this was an arrival or an air defense operation. Already at 06:25 Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko confirmed the explosion in the Goloseevsky district. He noted that all relevant services went there.
- At 06:54, he added that the explosions were the reason for the introduction of technological emergency power outages. According to him, then 15% of consumers in the capital were left without electricity.
- Already at 07:14 he confirmed another explosion, but already in the Svyatoshinsky district. According to the mayor, cars caught fire in the courtyard of the house. Actually, this is the same house in which the witness lives.
- At 07:36, he added that two people were injured in an explosion in the Svyatoshinsky district. They were hospitalized to receive the necessary medical care. At that time, three people turned to doctors.
- Note that on the night of March 9, the Russian military launched 81 missiles. The Air Force managed to shoot down 34 cruise missiles and 4 Iranian kamikaze drones. Interestingly, for the first time in more than a year of the great war, 6 Kinzhal missiles were fired at once.
