On the day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Canada delivered a speech at a press conference in Toronto. During a special briefing, Justin Trudeau said that Canada would provide Ukraine with more Leopard 2 tanks.
How many tanks are we talking about
According to the Prime Minister of Canada, as part of military assistance, Ukraine will receive four more Leopard 2 tanks. Also, the defenders will receive a repair and recovery vehicle

However, not only this weaponry will provide Ukraine with a Western partner. Trudeau also said that the military of our state will also receive five thousand 155 mm ammunition.

- 18 January Canada and Latvia announced new military aid. It, in particular, included 200 Senator APC armored vehicles worth approximately 90 million Canadian dollars.
- Also in late January, Canada announced the transfer of four Leopard 2 tanks from its arsenal. They also announced the dispatch of Canadian troops to train Ukrainian crews who will use these tanks.
