The statement of the government of Canada says that a number of howitzers of the M-777 type will be sent to Ukraine. At the beginning of the week, our Armed Forces of Ukraine received heavy artillery from the country.
These howitzers are lighter and more powerful than their counterparts
It is known that howitzers of the M-777 type are lighter and smaller. At the same time, they boast more power when compared to guns of a similar type. The impact range is 30 kilometers. It is at this distance howitzers can accurately hit the target.
Canada also provided Ukraine with many additional Carl Gustaf anti-armor ammunition. The country received a corresponding request from the state earlier.

Currently, Canada is completing contracts for a number of commercial armored vehicles. They will be sent to Ukraine in the near future. Work is also being completed on contracts for the maintenance and repair of specialized drone cameras. Canada previously provided them to Ukraine.
It is known that since the beginning of 2022, Canada has allocated more than $118 million for military equipment to support Ukraine. Also in the budget this year, the country has provided 500 million dollars. This amount will be additional military assistance to our state for the 2022-2023 fiscal year.
