Russia has concentrated its main efforts in the east of Ukraine, where it is conducting offensive operations. The Armed Forces of Ukraine assessed the risks of opening the front in other directions, in particular in the north of the country.
The representative of OK “South” Natalya Gumenyuk said on the air of the telethon that from a military point of view, any threats in different directions, including from Belarus, can be taken into account, writes Channel 24 .
Russia became a hostage of the blockade
At the same time, she stressed that this is a hypothetical threat, likely under a certain list of circumstances.

The representative of OK “South” explained that in order to open the front, the enemy must have additional support. “But there is no way to get it based on the blockade that Russia receives at the world level,” she summed up.
There was a “pop” in Belarus
- On the morning of February 26, two explosions occurred at the Machulishchi airfield, located 12 kilometers from Minsk. As a result, one of the Russian military transport aircraft GRLS A-5 was damaged.
- Activists reported that Belarusian partisans claimed responsibility for the incident.
- Belarusian activists are sure that two UAVs were involved in the explosions at the airfield in the village of Machulishchi. Probably, it was they who damaged the Russian aircraft DRLS A-50.
The invaders launched a full-scale attack on the Luhansk region
A full-scale offensive by Russian troops is already underway in the Luhansk region. Active hostilities are unfolding in three directions: near Belogorovka, in the direction of Svatovo – Kupyansk and in the Kremennaya area.
In recent days, a significant increase in the number of shelling of positions of the Defense Forces and settlements already liberated from Russian occupation has been recorded. In addition, the invaders are making attempts to storm the positions of the Defense Forces.
The head of the Lugansk OVA, Sergei Gaidai, said that the Russians are trying to storm the positions using infantry or infantry with the support of heavy equipment.
According to him, the Russians bring a lot of ammunition to the places of hostilities and actively carry out offensives in different directions with different composition of troops.
