The command of the Ukrainian army is aware of all the risks of having a common border with Russia and Belarus and is expanding the minefield in the strategic zone in order to repulse the enemy if he decides to attack again. According to the speaker, of course, one should not rule out any scenarios. However, the big question is whether the invaders really have the power to open a new front.
From a military point of view, we can take into account any threats in these directions, but how real are they … These are rather hypothetical threats. They are probable under a certain list of circumstances, but, most likely, they will not be realized,” she stressed.
In addition, the speaker noted that in order to open the front, you need to have additional support. Russia does not really own it thanks to the sanctions and blockade that the West has organized.
