During martial law in Ukraine, employers can book conscripted workers. This postpones conscription during mobilization for six months.
Reservations can be made for those liable for military service working in state authorities, other state bodies, local governments and enterprises, institutions and organizations, who are assigned mobilization tasks.
Which workers are not subject to booking
According to the decision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, those liable for military service who have military specialties
- private, sergeant and senior officers;
- officers by groups of military specialties ( BOS).
Booking conditions
Booking volumes for those liable for military service are determined taking into account the need to ensure the functioning of these bodies under martial law.
It is important to note that the volume of bookings of persons liable for military service in institutions and organizations is determined taking into account the mobilization tasks set for them.
How to apply for a worker's booking
Heads of enterprises should submit proposals on the need to book military men to the district state administrations, substantiating in a cover letter the need to provide a deferral for employees to perform tasks to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other formations and the population under martial law.
After that, the administrations are sent elaborated proposals to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for approval. Only after the approval of the Ministry of Defense, they are sent to the regional administrations for further direction to the Ministry of Economy.
In what cases is the booking canceled
The granted deferment from the draft is subject to cancellation in the event of:
- its expiration date;
- completion or cancellation of a task for an enterprise, institution, organization to meet the needs of the Armed Forces, other military formations, the population;
- liquidation of a state authority, other state body, company, institution, organization;
- dismissal of a person liable for military service from a state authority, other state body, enterprise, institution, organization.
