Calming down or active hostilities: Podolyak suggested how the war will continue in the winter

by alex

During the winter, hostilities are much more difficult due to adverse weather conditions. However, it is unlikely that hostilities at the front will subside this winter.

Yes, our country has already fought under such conditions in February-March of this year. On Channel 24, adviser to the head of the President's Office Mikhail Podolyak told.

The war will not subside in winter

According to him , for certain societies there is such a thing as “fighting in comfort.” However, this does not apply to the type of war we have today.

For the type of intensity that we see today, there is no chance to stop it (the war – Channel 24) for a while, – explained the adviser to the head of the OP.

He also noted that for Ukraine, ending the war for time is absolutely unprofitable . Since the aggressor country will be able to use this pause in order to “mobilize a certain number of prisoners.”

“That is, they will receive a certain amount of manpower that they do not need, but this is manpower that will have a machine gun and will be on the battlefield,” Podolyak said.

During this time, Russia will also be able to repair some more depreserving equipment. This will not create a great danger for Ukraine, but it will still increase the number of losses that our country will suffer.

I don't think there will be any stop. The climax of the war is a somewhat strange concept on the 197th day. For me, every day is a milestone. Every day of the war solves some tactical or strategic issues, – said the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office.

In his opinion, the key today is the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which continues in all directions, as well as the intensification of shelling of enemy logistics.
