A debate between presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris was held in the United States. During the debate, Trump did not forget to mention Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

In particular, the Republican highly praised the head of the Hungarian government during the debate. In addition, he called him one of the most respected politicians.

Trump spoke about Orban during the debate

During the debate on live television, Trump began to praise Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who is called Putin's “European friend.”

According to the Republican candidate, Orban's “intelligence” and “strength” lies in the fact that he says that everyone was afraid of Trump and that this is what kept the world order going.

So, given the Republican's words, the main merit of the head of the Hungarian government, in his opinion, is the high assessment of Trump himself.

“Viktor Orban is one of the most respected politicians, they call him a strong, serious person, a smart prime minister of Hungary. He was asked why everything is collapsing in the world? This was not the case three years ago. “Why is everything collapsing?,” he repeated. “Because you need Trump as president. They were afraid of him. China was afraid of him.” I don't like the word “afraid,” but I'm just quoting. “North Korea was afraid of him.” Look at what's happening with North Korea. By the way, he said that Russia was afraid of me,” Trump said.

Trump is not very kind to his political opponents

However, if he showered Orban with pleasant words, the ex-president is not nearly as generous to his other political opponents. So, he called the current US President Joe Biden a “weakling” and said that he generally “hates” Harris.

“And that pathetic person, the weakling you saw at the debates a few months ago, ran instead of her? She doesn't have the votes, he has 14 million. What were you saying about a threat to democracy? He had 14 million votes, and they kicked him out of office. I'll let you in on a little secret: Biden hates her, he can't stand her,” Trump said.

Besides, according to Trump, it was he who won the debate with Biden, and the debate with Harris can be disregarded, since “she didn't get a single vote herself, she's just a candidate.”

In addition, Trump made a jibe at Harris's skin color. The debate host drew attention to this, noting that “earlier you (Trump – Channel 24) said that you didn't know Harris was a black woman. Why do you think it's appropriate to take into account your opponent's skin color?” “I don't care whether she's black or not. I just pointed out that I didn't know that, but it doesn't matter,” Trump tried to justify himself.

At the same time, Harris herself emphasized the inadmissibility of dividing Americans by race.

“I think it's a tragedy that someone who wants to divide Americans by race wants to become president,” she noted.
