Ukrainian swimmer Vladislav Bukhov showed the 11th result in the 50-meter freestyle semi-final, not finishing his performance at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
To qualify for the 50-meter freestyle final, he had to be among the top eight athletes.

The 50-meter freestyle semi-final consisted of two heats. The Ukrainian swam in the second and showed the seventh time — 21.76 seconds.

He was joined in the second heat by the silver medalist of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Frenchman Florent Manaudou.
The fastest in the semi-finals were Britain's Benjamin Proud and Australia's Cameron Makevoy, who swam the distance in 21.38 seconds.
The 2024 Olympic Games were the second in Bukhov's career. At the Tokyo Games, Vladislav also showed the 11th result in the 50-meter freestyle.
Thus, only one athlete from Ukraine remains in swimming at the 2024 Olympics. Mykhailo Romanchuk will swim the 1,500-meter freestyle qualification on the competition day of Saturday, August 3.
