During a special operation on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea, which was carried out by Ukrainian intelligence officers on October 4, one GUR serviceman was captured by Russia.

Thus, in an interview with Ukrainskaya Pravda, Budanov said that during the operation in Crimea there were two military skirmishes between Ukrainian special forces and Russians.

— Unfortunately (but this is a reality), the de-occupation of Ukrainian territories is associated with the sacrifices and sacrifices of our defenders and protectors, — said a representative of the GUR.

Yusov added that the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War is working to return home every Ukrainian defender.

GUR special operation in Crimea
