In Omsk, a former Wagner mercenary is accused of killing an 18-year-old pregnant girl. Before that, the couple had a fight because the girl allegedly broke his music speaker.

The criminal case against 36-year-old former Wagner PMC fighter Sergei Kozlov is being heard by the Omsk Regional Court. The man is charged with the murder of a pregnant woman committed with particular cruelty (Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code), Russian media report.

How a former Wagnerite killed his pregnant girlfriend

According to investigators, last fall Daria and her father came to visit Kozlov. During a feast in the bathhouse, the girl broke the man's speaker, which made him angry and start beating her.

Experts recorded 138 injuries on her. Their description took up several pages of the case file. Eyewitnesses say that after the beating, Darya's body looked like “one big bruise.”

Eyewitnesses said that Kozlov hit the girl on the head with a column, kicked her, and jumped on her stomach. At the same time, he said that she was not worthy of being the mother of his child.

It is reported that the witnesses of the beating felt sick from what they saw. However, no one did anything.

It is worth noting that this Kozlov had already been tried for causing harm to health. In June 2021, he was sentenced to 6 years in prison for beating a woman and her daughter with an axe.

However, in the colony, Kozlov recruited into the Wagner PMC and was released to fight against Ukraine. There, the occupier was awarded the Medal for Courage, and in the summer of 2023, he returned home.
