British Vice-Marshal names country that could become Putin's “prize” Dzvenislava Moshovskaya

There is increasing talk about ending the Russian-Ukrainian war. In particular, Donald Trump is talking about the readiness of the Ukrainian government to conclude an agreement, but it is unknown whether the Kremlin wants this. However, Vladimir Putin may have plans for another neighboring country.

Retired Royal Air Force Vice-Marshal Sean Bell expressed this opinion to Channel 24, noting that everyone should be careful, because Trump has extensive experience in concluding deals. However, the US President notes that the war in Ukraine is not good for anyone, so it needs to be ended.

What else is dangerous about Putin

Sean Bell noted that Trump's intentions are becoming clear – he wants to end the war in Ukraine.

“He wants this achievement to go down in his biography. But the threat is that if we don't create security for Ukraine in the long term and make Putin understand that he will be rewarded for his ambitions, then the situation can only get worse,” the British Vice Marshal said.

According to him, there is another country in which Russia gradually seizing control – Belarus.

Putin has not attacked this state militarily, but now it could become the dictator's next “prize”, which he will effectively use, he suggested.

It is worth emphasizing that Russia is in the final stage of the de facto annexation of Belarus. The Kremlin seeks complete control over the Belarusian armed forces, the country's governance and its resources, turning Minsk into a strategic partner for its geopolitical goals. ISW analysts warn that such integration poses a threat not only to Ukraine, but also to NATO and the United States.
