Permission to receive veterans' certificates and bonuses on the basis of these documents for Wagnerites is provided for by the new system of the Russian Ministry of Defense .
Another fact indicating changes in attitude towards Wagnerites was the recent inclusion of Wagner PMCs in the command structure of the Russian Guard .
– All this probably indicates that the Russian administration has begun the rehabilitation of individual elements of the PMCs after a long period of uncertainty due to the unsuccessful Wagner uprising on June 23-24.
Unsuccessful mutiny of Wagner PVK
On June 23, the owner of Wagner’s private military company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced the start of a “march of justice,” accusing the Russian regular army of a missile attack on the rear camps of his mercenaries.
On June 24, the Wagnerites allegedly took control of Russian military facilities in Rostov-on-Don and Voronezh, and also destroyed seven Russian aircraft.

However, when the Wagner column had already reached the Moscow region, the press service of the self-proclaimed President of Belarus reported that the Wagner campaign against Moscow ended after negotiations between Alexander Lukashenko and Yevgeny Prigozhin.
Prigozhin himself said that the Wagnerites were returning to “field camps.”
And already on August 23, two months after the unsuccessful mutiny of the Wagner PMC, during the accident of a private Embraer plane in the Tver region of the Russian Federation, both leaders of the Wagnerites were killed – Yevgeny Prigozhin and his right hand Dmitry Utkin with the call sign Wagner.
