A missile strike on a shipyard on the territory of the naval base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol on the morning of September 13 permanently disabled the Minsk landing ship and the Rostov-on-Don submarine, according to the British Ministry of Defense intelligence.

&#8212 ; The Russian Ministry of Defense has downplayed damage to the ships, but open sources indicate that Minsk is almost certainly functionally destroyed, and Rostov likely suffered catastrophic damage, — says the summary.

Intelligence officials are convinced that any effort to restore the submarine will take many years and cost hundreds of millions of dollars, and the difficult task of removing the wreckage from the dry docks will put them out of action for many months, that is, in fact will create a serious problem for the maintenance of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
