At the same time, according to Nuland, deterring Russia and preventing its attack in the future requires:
- a sophisticated and stable air defense system;
- border defense;
- better radars and early warning.
So fifth-generation fighters in this case can become one of the elements of protection and additional deterrence of the enemy.
