In Zvenigorod, in the Moscow region, Russians were beheaded with a sledgehammer by a monument to Stalin. The stone bust of Lenin also suffered.

As Russian media report, the monument to Stalin was erected with private funds from the “Remember Our Heroes” group in the summer of 2023. It is placed symbolically on Sovetskaya Street. Officially, the authorities did not approve the installation, but they did not demolish the monument either – they promised to move it to the future Walk of Fame.
