Iran May Launch Massive Drone Attack/Collage by Channel 24

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told his G7 counterparts on Sunday that an Iranian and Hezbollah attack on Israel could begin as early as Monday.

Blinken called a conference call to coordinate with close US allies and try to apply diplomatic pressure on Iran and Hezbollah to minimize their “revenge.” This was reported by journalists citing three unnamed sources.

When Iran might attack Israel

Blinken said that the US does not know the exact time of the attack, but stressed that it could begin in the next 24 to 48 hours – that is, as early as Monday, August 5. Blinken asked other foreign ministers to apply diplomatic pressure on Iran, Hezbollah and Israel to maintain maximum restraint, the sources said.

The commander of U.S. Central Command, Gen. Michael Kurilla, is expected to arrive in Israel on Monday to finalize preparations with the Israel Defense Forces for a possible attack by Iran and Hezbollah, the article says.

Preliminary information does not rule out the participation of other Iranian allies in the region. One option is a massive air attack using missiles and drones.

By the way, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Iran plans to attack Israel with drones. They could be launched from areas near Damascus and from the Syrian desert.
