The platform will collect data on fraudulent schemes related to cryptocurrency/Collage 24 channels
The cryptocurrency market continues to gain momentum. But, unfortunately, along with it – the activity of intruders. Binance, together with other companies, launched a platform that will allow the sharing of data on fraudsters.
The platform that will collect information about fraudsters in the cryptocurrency market is called Chainabuse. It will collect reports from users about intruders. All in order to subsequently create a detailed database that will save the funds of industry participants.
The platform will prevent fraud
It is known that large crypto companies have worked on its creation. In particular, Binance.us, TRM Labs, Solana Foundation, Aave, Circle, Civic, and Hedera. All of them have joined forces to make the market safer, as well as deprive users of the worries associated with their finances .
The Chainabuse platform itself is multi-chain. And it will be guided by blockchain analytics company TRM Labs.
The service is very convenient and is designed for the exchange of messages between the crypto players themselves. With it, it will be possible to report fraudulent schemes, hacking or other activities that users have encountered.
The tool is absolutely free
Another feature of the platform is that it is free. And the creators themselves convince that thanks to it, everyone will be able to transform crypto-ecosystems into places to work without risks.
Please note that both any user and a company can join. Now users of some cryptocurrency networks can leave their complaints on the Chainabuse platform. We are talking about: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Hedera, Tron, Polygon, as well as Binance Smart Chain.
At the same time, users of other networks will be able to vote for complaints. The more responses to the application, the higher the priority it will be. This means that the entire community will be able to respond to the challenge as quickly as possible.
Reports on the same addresses or properties will be aggregated and placed in a searchable database that anyone can use to proactively check addresses or projects before starting to work with them, the creators of the platform say.
Since the launch of the platform, more than 600 reports have been collected on it. Note that 100 of them relate to fraudulent schemes related to the collection of cryptocurrencies for the needs of Ukraine.
The creators note that the platform does not appeal to law enforcement agencies on behalf of the victims. The main task of Chainabuse is to warn others about the possible actions of intruders. But that doesn't mean victims of scams can't unite and take legal action.
That's interesting! The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has filed a lawsuit. She accused two residents of the United States of organizing cryptocurrency scams. Moreover, their total amount was 44 million dollars.
