US President Joe Biden will send all funds allocated for its support to Ukraine. This will happen before the inauguration of the newly elected head of state Donald Trump.

This was reported by 24 Channel with reference to the words of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, as reported by the Associated Press.

What Blinken said about US aid to Ukraine

Anthony Blinken noted that Joe Biden will be responsible for aid to Ukraine until the inauguration of the new US President Donald Trump.

President Biden has committed to ensuring that every dollar at our disposal is spent between now and 20 January, – said the head of the US State Department.

Blinken also noted the need for NATO countries to provide Ukraine with sufficient financial resources and ammunition to support its defense efforts until 2025. He noted that such support could provide Ukraine with the opportunity to negotiate with Russia from a position of strength.

The Secretary of State also noted that the United States is ready to “adapt and adjust” its strategy regarding the latest military equipment supplied to Ukraine, although he did not provide further details regarding this approach.

By the way, earlier the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga also said that the Biden administration assured that it would provide the entire volume of promised military aid to Ukraine by the end of its term. The US also assured Ukraine that it would cover all costs for weapons production contracts provided for by the Ukraine support program.
