The United States of America will never recognize the annexation of Ukrainian territories by Russia. In response to the pseudo-referendums trying to hold the Kremlin, the US is preparing additional sanctions against Russia.
The corresponding statement was made by US President Joe Biden, who said that America condemns pseudo-referendums and will never recognize the annexation of Ukrainian territories by Russia .

“The United States will never recognize Ukrainian territory as anything other than part of Ukraine. Russian pseudo-referendums are a sham, a false pretext for trying to annex parts of Ukraine by force, which is a flagrant violation of international law, in particular the UN Charter,” the US leader said in a statement.< /p>
Biden noted that the United States will work with allies and partners “on the introduction of additional rapid and severe economic costs for Russia.”
The US President promised that Washington would reject any results of the “referenda”. The United States will continue to provide security assistance to Ukraine so that “it can defend itself.”
