US President Joe Biden has declared a natural disaster in Louisiana due to Hurricane Ida, the White House said.

President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. has declared a major natural disaster in Louisiana and has ordered federal assistance to complement state and local recovery operations in areas affected by Hurricane Ida, the statement said.
