Beloded performed a move for an ippon score and won the fight.
However, the Ukrainian's next opponent was the vice-champion of the world in 2022 and 2023 Haruka Funakubo. The Ukrainian earned three shido (warnings) in the fight against the Japanese and ended her Olympic performance early.
After her elimination, Daria could not hold back her tears.
It should be noted that two more male judokas from Ukraine also ended their performance in the 1/8 finals at the Olympic Games.
