According to her, in 2024 the Belgian Ministry of Defense will send two F-16 aircraft to Denmark — two-seat trainers F-16B — to improve the skills of Ukrainian pilots, as well as a detachment of approximately 50 military personnel, mainly technical personnel, who will be responsible for the deployment of fighter jets.

In the coming weeks, the Belgian defense department will also send a group of three military personnel to the training center for Ukrainian F-16 pilots in Denmark, which has provided its Skrydstrup airbase for this purpose.
The Wall Street Journal previously reported that Ukrainian pilots may be ready to perform combat missions on F-16 fighters as early as February 2024.
