Belarusians monitor cellular networks at the border

Belarusian military on the border with Ukraine monitor mobile networks. To do this, they use a mobile radio monitoring system.

Mobile intelligence will last until May 21. This was reported at the General Staff on May 16.

The next stage of checking the combat readiness of the reaction forces of the armed forces of the republic in Belarus will continue. The activity of the mobile radio monitoring complex is recorded in the border zone, including on the territory of Ukraine. It operates to monitor cellular networks, the message says.

There were no active actions in the Volyn and Polesye directions. The Belarusian military continues to carry out tasks to cover the area on the border with Ukraine. It has up to 7 battalions.

The situation on the directions on May 16

• The enemy does not stop conducting offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone. The main efforts of the enemy were concentrated in the Donetsk direction.
• In the Slobozhansky direction, it is trying to restrain the offensive of the Defense Forces north of Kharkov and prevent them from reaching the State Border of Ukraine. The enemy is preparing an offensive in the Izyum area.
• In the Seversk direction, the enemy has tightened control of the section of the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. There is a threat of missile strikes from Russian territory in the specified direction.
• In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on holding its positions and preventing the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of the State Border of Ukraine with the Russian Federation.
• No active hostilities were recorded in the Slavyansk direction.
• Russian infidels fired artillery at civilian infrastructure in the areas of the settlements of Dovgenkoye, Russian Tishki, Ternovaya and Petrovka. The enemy conducted aerial reconnaissance using the Orlan-10 UAV.
• In the Donetsk direction, the invaders fired all types of weapons.
• In the Limansky, Bakhmutsky and Kurakhovsky directions, the enemy continues to advance, combat actions continue.
• In the Avdeevka direction, the enemy retreated to previously occupied positions.
• In the Severodonetsk and Novopavlovsk directions, the enemy did not conduct active hostilities. He was only trying to fire at the positions of the Ukrainian military.
• In Mariupol, the enemy is inflicting massive artillery and air strikes. The infidels are focusing their main efforts on blocking and defeating the Azovstal plant.
• In the South Buzh direction, the enemy did not conduct active hostilities. The enemy fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
