Belarusian volunteers turned to their countrymen/Shpalta
Since the beginning of the full-scale war with Russia, Belarusian volunteers have been serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They once again appealed to fellow countrymen to support the anti-war movement.
Please note that Belarusian volunteers formed a battalion named after Kastus Kalinouski. In May, it was reorganized into a regiment.
Belarusian volunteers appealed to fellow countrymen
Belarusian military, together with Ukrainians fighting the Russian occupiers, recorded a video message to your countrymen. They noted that for security reasons they do not want to show their faces, but they cannot remain silent.
Since February 24, we have made our choice – the choice in favor of freedom. Dear Belarusians, freedom is something that we can receive, but we cannot give. For our freedom, dear Belarusians, we are already fighting in Ukraine,” the volunteers noted.
They added that the regime of the Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko wants to drag the country into war and turn Gomel, Brest, Minsk and Vitebsk into cities, in which they will conduct hostilities.
“Lukashenko's regime, together with Putin, wants blood. It is they who want to involve Belarusians in a meat grinder,” the fighters emphasized.
Together with volunteers and activists, they called Belarusians to support the anti-war movement “Green Ribbon”, created to fight the “junta of Lukashenka and Putin.”
“Hang green ribbons, glue anti-Lukashenko posters, pass information to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Fight!” the volunteers urged.
The fighters summed up that while they are fighting for freedom in Ukraine, their compatriots must fight for it in their homeland.
