Belarusian Gayun: Lukashenko's statements about drones over Belarus on August 9 are nonsense

On August 9, 2024, no air objects were recorded over Belarus, due to which Minsk gave the order to activate military aviation.

All the warnings and concerns about the threat of attack UAVs from Ukraine, which were stated by self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko, turned out to be another nonsense.

This was reported by analysts of the OSINT monitoring project Belaruski Gayun in Telegram channel.

On August 9, dictator Lukashenko ordered to strengthen the military presence in the Gomel and Mozyr tactical directions, which border the Kyiv and Chernigov regions.

According to Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin, drones were detected in the airspace, which Minsk assessed as a provocation.
